Andy Coe Band
ACB is a Seattle-based band that attracts fans of all ages who enjoy psychedelic jams and free-flow dancing. The band plays weekly local gigs and goes on tour every year. They require event posters, Facebook banners, and Instagram squares on a regular basis, as well as branding and merch design.
The idea for the ACB squirrel mascot came about during a show when a fan was talking to guitarist Andy Coe at set break. The fan suggested putting a “tie-dye swirl” on a design, but Andy misheard and thought the fan said, “a tie-dye squirrel.” Hilarity ensued, and soon tie-die squirrel stickers were being passed out at ACB shows. The current design evolved from there. It is a digital painting using colors taken from the original tie-dye squirrel sticker colors.
